A friend of mine on here, brandimillerart, just did a Deviant suggestion for the critiquing process. The examples used were one of my pieces and one by another deviant. I, personally, think it is awesome and definitely think y'all should check it out! I think it would be a great tool to aid those of us who have an easier time by explaining-via-showing or for those times where words are just too vague.

Brushing off the Dust
Hey everyone,
It's been a while. I'm brushing off the dust of my portfolio and getting back into the groove. There have been some major changes in my life and art fell by the wayside for a while, but I'm chugging along once more! Expect to see me and artwork on and off in the future!
I'm finding art from the last year and uploading it, but my current main project can't be really shared. I'm doing a card series for neonmob.com- I'm crookedlanding over there, if any of you are on that site as well. I'll at least be able to post works in progress from that series/concept sketches, so I'll try to remember to upload those, and I'll be working on
Creating fan art, dusting off the drawing tablet
Hey guys.
I know that I kind of fade in and out here. I recently joined tumblr, which I'm rather liking the set up of. I have some art there that I haven't posted here, but I'll try and cross-post my favorites. (I'm having to upload artwork to my phone to get any art uploaded to dA or tumblr. Stupid sluggish wi-fi.) Anyways, I'm in a fan art kick? Don't be surprised if you see a sudden surge in Supernatural and BBC Sherlock art. It's getting me drawing again. I have some original art I'm wanting to do as well, but I've been intimidated lately, which is stupid as heck, so I'm using fan art to make with the happy feelings and getting me back i
Back to drawing and being active
I am now, once again, active on dA. The last few months have been a bit hectic. I was doing NaNoWriMo at one point while having not been at two new jobs long, and then I ended up sticking with only one job once my hours suddenly doubled. Now, I'm a stock lead and I find myself on a pretty regular schedule and am back to taking at least one class at Uni. I'll do my best to keep up with the critique group again and I'm trying to draw frequently again. Just submitted my most recent pieces, which are kind of rough, but that's what I get for going stints without making art and avoiding my drawing tablet. XD
NaNoWriMo
I'm sorry that I'm not very active at the moment y'all. I'm actually working two part time jobs and am participating in NaNoWriMo this month, so I'm pretty busy. I will try to log in more and keep up to date with the group. I'm doing fairly well with my novel at the moment- NaNoWriMo is National Novel writing month, where you write 50,000 words in 30 days. I'm about to hit 9k in a few moments.
